Whiskey Sour Cocktail

Ingredients

  • 60ml McKenna Bourbon
  • 40ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 20ml Sugar Syrup (1 part caster sugar to 1 part boiling water, then cooled)
  • 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
  • 1/2 egg white (optional)
  • Ice
  • Lemon wedge for garnish

Method

  • Add 60ml McKenna to shaker
  • Cut wedge of lemon for garnish
  • Cut remaining lemon in half and squeeze 40ml lemon juice in shaker
  • Add 20ml Sugar Syrup
  • Add 1/2 egg white (optional)
  • Add 2 dashes bitters
  • Add ice to rocks glass
  • Shake and double strain into rocks glass
  • Garnish with lemon wedge
